Marcus
I keep reminding myself that whatever I feel is because she’s been a great secretary. Nothing more, nothing less but each time she opens that door and her lips twitch in the first minute, just strive to not think of her.
This is crazy–looking at my son’s girlfriend when there are thousands and even millions of women all over the world.
Melissa cleared her throat as if the velvet scent that accompanied her presence wasn’t already heated in my office.
“Excuse me, Mr. Hills,”
I dropped the pen I was holding, closed the file and placed my hands over the file. I had no idea what she wanted to say but she didn’t look like she had a problem with work.
Everything changed so fast; it felt like she was now an expertise in this field.
I don’t know if other workers now help her with the information she needs but there’s a damn difference now and except I call her, she’s not diving back and forth here.
“I didn’t ask for you,” I told her. I wished I had a reason to but there was none and I didn’t want to mix up with things that may end up blowing right in my face. Being a media personality meant that I had to keep my space clean, my name free from scandals and maintain a good reputation.
What has that got to do with Melissa?
Well, if I react the way my body does whenever she walks in then my painfully starved cock would have a mind of its own which I didn’t want.
From the first day I met her, I knew I’d want her if I kept seeing her but now I confirmed the feelings.
“I know, sir.” She took a moment and I didn’t fail to notice the book she was holding. For a moment, I felt like another character and if I had chosen the path of psychology, I may have fitted into this character.
A professor and his student who was beginning to make him go insane from thinking about wild things.
Marcus, you have to stop this.
“Can I sit?”
Now that she was asking to sit, my inquisitiveness moved from 149. “Go ahead, Miss Kane.”
She obliged and in what felt like 0.2 seconds, she crossed her leg over the other so elegantly, leaving no skin or trying to be. seductive. That was so fucking hot because she didn’t even have to try so hard.
It was purely elegance speaking and I loved it.
“I got a mail from school today. My project topic has been approved and I need to start working on it.”
“Congratulations, Miss Kane.”
My voice was calm but still void of some emotions. She swallowed hard and I watched her throat gulp.
She may have been expecting a different reaction but I have no idea how else to react. It’s perfect that she’ll be a graduate in a few months but— what was perfect about her leaving now?
That’s what this is about. Coming to inform me of how she needs some time to work on her project and she’d have to stop;

“So, Miss. Kane,” I called, flipping back the file open. “Is this more of a resignation? You know you can be more swift about
it.”
She frowned. “No, Mr. Hills. Why would I want to resign?”
To focus on your project of course or better still, because working for me is tiring and you need some time to yourself. You’ve made me feel like you’re comfortable and you don’t want to ruin my feelings so you decide to go with this.
I haven’t stopped being much of an over thinker, have I?
She shook her head in disapproval when my response wasn’t coming.
“Actually, I have to do some interviews and that’s where this whole thing comes in. I work for one of the most successful business men in the city. Even though it’s not my birthright but can I please, interview you, Mr. Hills?” she paused and I frowned.
“No no, don’t think of it like that. No personal questions, just a bunch of business related questions. I’m not going to be asking you when last you got laid, if you have a lover or your body count. Purely business.”
I looked in her eyes and a part of me told me those were the questions she was dying to get an answer.
Was she wondering all these or did she just blurt it out in the heat of the moment?
“And if you are still not convinced, I’ll turn in the interview questions and responses so you can go over them. I’ll strike out whatever you don’t want.”
“Fair enough.”
She was very good at making offers and that made a small smile tug on my lips.“When is this project of yours due?”
“In two weeks.”
“That’s close. When do you intend asking me your questions?”
She looked at her book, I looked at her book and she looked back at me. “Now?”
“Okay, if that works for you too.” This should be about me, about what works for me and not even her. She was the one who came up to me and that should mean she’s prepared.
“Yes, Mr. Hills but for the record, I uh— I got the mail few minutes ago which means that I am not as prepared as I should be but that’s okay, I can come up with really smart questions and you can also strike out whatever question you don’t want given to the public.”
Left for me, I’d be striking all questions out because I hate giving information about me to the public. My life is so intertwined that despite trying to keep a low profile, people can still figure out a bunch of things from one sentence.
“Can we go ahead?” she asked pointing her biro to the book as she scribbled down her first question.
Ready for you, Melissa. Shoot me what you have.
