Chapter 12
Scrolling from January to December, thirty days filled with nothing but taunts and provocations.
Reed’s rage had consumed all rational thought. Only one purpose remained – making Scarlett pay.
Racing home, he found luggage piled by his door. Scarlett was directing servants to move her belongings, and upon seeing him, she sashayed over.
“Back so soon? Can’t resist me? Give me a kiss, and I’ll stay.”
Staring at her seductive face so close to his, something in Reed shattered. His hand struck with all his strength, sending her crashing to the ground. Her pale cheek swelled angry red.
She looked up, disbelieving. “Reed, why did you hit me?”
Too furious for words, he threw the phone at her, his eyes glacial.
Scarlett picked it up, trembling as she saw the screen. Fear crept into her bones as realization dawned.
“I can explain! Winter added me first – she already knew about your memory act. I just… I loved you too much, I wasn’t thinking clearly!”
Her words only fueled his rage. He yanked her up, fingers crushing her throat.
Struggling for air, she clawed at his hands, drawing blood, but he felt nothing. Her face turned from red to purple, eyes bulging with desperation.
Just as darkness crept into her vision, Reed’s pack brothers arrived. Horrified, they pulled him away.
Cold air rushed into her lungs as she collapsed, coughing violently.
Reed fought against his brothers‘ restraint, wild with fury.
“Alpha, stop! We need to find Winter first!”
“Deal with her later – she’s not going anywhere.”

An Omega’s Final Good Bye To Her Untou
Chapter 12
Finally, Reed stilled. His last look at Scarlett chilled the room.
“Take her to Duke’s territory.” Everyone knew Duke, an exiled Alpha who now ran the Shadow Den – a place where outcast wolves, especially rebellious she–wolves, were sent to serve the darker elements of pack society, stripped of their status and forced to submit to the lowest ranks.
The name jolted Scarlett to full consciousness. She crawled to Reed, clutching his legs. “Please! I was
with you for two months – spare me! Let me leave, and I’ll never bother you again, I swear!”
Her tears meant nothing to his stone face.
His brothers dragged her to their car, her desperate screams echoing inside.
“If you’d just taken the money and disappeared, you’d have been set for life. But you had to target Winter. You knew what happens to wolves who challenge an Alpha’s chosen mate!”
“Better submit quietly at the Shadow Den if you want any chance at all. Duke has ways of breaking a wolf’s spirit – especially those who forget their place in pack hierarchy!”
